SPB Custom Creation‘s craftsman, Sean, works in the old art form of Chainmaille, where artists take small rings interlocking them in pattern (called a weave). There are over 1,000 different weaves artists can choose from and a wide assortment of metals available to work with. For the PAX Rainbow Bracelet, Sean was inspired by the creative mastermind behind our company, Jillian Davidsson, and her love of rainbows and babywearing. Sean wanted to create the feel of rainbow baby wrap in a chainmaille bracelet. This beautiful piece is crafted in a roundmaille weave with 20 gauge wire to create the tight complex look that a woven wrap gives and anondized aluminum helps achieve the bright rainbow colors. The PAX Rainbow bracelet consists of over 300 rings, which is double the amount of a Byzantine bracelet of the same length and same size. Sean very much enjoyed working on this amazing piece, valued at $125, and has decided to offer these bracelets in limited quantity, on his Etsy site, at the conclusion of our giveaway!!!
