Why I Love my Beco Gemini

I loved my Maya wrap (ring sling), especially when my baby boy was a newborn. It especially worked wonders during Mass. However, once he hit about 2 months, he started to fidget alot. He enjoyed the “kangaroo hold” (Facing Forward Position) but his big ol’ hips pressing into my stomach was quite uncomfortable. So, I decided to put away my Maya wrap until he would be big enough for a hip carry. So then, I switched to my Baby Bjorn. Within a few weeks, however, that started to kill my back.

Living on a 3rd floor apartment and in an area where I can walk almost anywhere to do my errands, it was very important to find a good baby carrier that will last, that is comfortable and that is versatile (i.e. more than one hold). Not to mention, the “Dadmeister” (as my husband likes to call himself) also enjoys babywearing.

My research led me to the Beco Gemini baby carrier. After much comparing with other carriers, I decided to go ahead & order the Beco. And yes, I am LOVING it. It’s super comfortable for both me & the baby. We are especially big fans of the back carry. Here are the proven reasons why I think the Beco Gemini is great.

Taken while cleaning up the apartment. The baby was starting to fall asleep at this point.
