Hi I was referred to you by a friend of mine and member of my Moms Meetup group, Erica Ashmore aka everythingmomandbaby blogger. I have gone through a few carriers and slings and am still looking for that right one. Or maybe I’m just overwhelmed by all the choices and feel like I may be missing out or making the wrong choice, My daughter is 9 months old and 15 lbs so easy to carry. She does like to see everything though and doesn’t like to always be facing in but I won’t face her out. She doesn’t really like it either to be honest. She’s used to wrapping her legs around mummy’s waist and being able to put her head on my chest to sleep. I just sold my ergo due to bulkiness (I’m skinny and small framed but tall 5’8″ and 128lb) and heat! In toronto it’s hot for baby’s in carriers. I do like my ellaroo mei hip but it’s not good for long periods or carrying a backpack with it. My dd loves it though. I just ordered a pikkolo and hear it’s fabulous but Erica swears by the Beco Bfly2& I don’t know if I should wait for the Gemini or take the plunge. The boba seems great too. So many choices!!! Help me please. I don’t want to have a hundred slings and carriers. I also have an unused BBjorn, Snugli and rarely used solarveil ring sling. I sold a couple of pouches too. Thanks. Amar
This is a fantastic idea. Better to rent and experiment than buy in haste!!!
Thanks, Cathy!!! I think so too!!! 🙂
Amar, sounds like you need to rent a coupla Soft Structured Carriers to try!!! I would recommend the Butterfly and the Boba since the Gemini will be redundant to your new Pikkolo!!!
this is what i love about the internet sometimes you come across really nice articles like this one. p.s fantastic website!
