What gets me the most is that this so called Ergonomic Carrier has a panel that’s only 9.5″ wide at the seat, while a proper ergonomic carrier is usually at least 15″ wide. There is no way that a baby older than like maybe 6 months, going to sit in the right position, where the knees are above the belly button! In Bjorn, the knees will point down! Couldn’t they have made it a bit wider?!

However if you Google Boba organic baby carrier then you will find their website and they have great images of the adjustable foot straps there =) I think they look pretty convincing! I asked Jillian about the Boba for older kids and she said it was a great choice.

I too think its great that Daddy is wearing baby <3 tooo sweet!

I just <3 that her daddy wears her! 🙂 What's a BOBA??? Foot straps sounds great for an older baby. I read on the BabyHawk FB page about a woman whose child likes to put his feet in her pockets and pull her pants down. I actually commented that BH needs to make stirrups for her little cowboy. I didn't know there WAS actually a carrier that did that! LOL!

I quote “provides the best possible support” ??? Doubtful! I live in the midwest small area and when I had my first daughter 11 years ago this was the only baby wearing option I had access to (didn’t have internet), I believe it was some Winnie the Pooh Snugli from WalMart – I gave up instantly; that thing was just not comfy for myself or my baby, lets face it – it was down right horrible! By baby #2, 9 years ago I didn’t even give it a thought bcz I wasn’t aware there were more comfortable options for small people! By baby #3 I had decided I wasn’t listening to others and was going to set out and do things MY WAY, I never got a structured carrier but I had a wonderful fitted organic cotton muslin sling carrier that really helped me! Especially when she got bigger and wiggly! I just knew I loved baby wearing! So here I am baby number 4 and so ready to buy a Beco, and a few others! Plus browsing the right options for Daddy to haul our toddler around in! Thanks largely to the information age! Because in smaller areas people just don’t know ! You’re so right, we babywearers need to get out there with the word especially in these smaller areas! ~Pixie
