If you follow the PAXbaby blog, you know that this babywearing mommy and her babywearing honey recently took our 5 young children on an adventure trip across New Zealand & Australia! This soft structured carrier has a built in sleeping hood, an integrated infant insert, and a unique zipper feature that generously lengthens the body of the carrier so you can get a more customized fit. for your baby When used in conjunction with each other, these features ensure that you will always get the proper neck and head support for your ever growing and always changing baby! The shoulder straps of the Manduca baby carrier can be worn straight in the backpack style or criss-crossed for added back support. The waistbelt is padded , gently curved, and unlike other structured carriers, the Manduca provides padding on the entire waist strap for ultimate comfort for both baby and parent!
As with any baby carrier sold at PAXbaby, safety is first, and the Manduca features a 3 point safety belt system making it impossible to accidentally release the buckles. The infant insert helps to give an extra boost to tiny babies, and keeps wee feet tucked inside, and baby's weight off of little legs. The infant insert encourages the ergonomic "M position" (better known as the froggy position in the babywearing world!)
