How do YOU keep cool in the Summer? What are your favorite tricks and tips for beating the heat?

We LOVE how cool a wrap conversion ring sling can be all year round! Only one layer of  fabric between you and baby, and it can easily be rolled up and thrown into any bag or purse when not in use! Some people worry that once your baby gets bigger and becomes a toddler, he will outgrow a ring sling. Happy to tell you that that isn’t the case! When your little one is worn more centered on your body, not just your hip, and you are careful to adjust and tighten to get rid of any slack, you will be surprised at how comfy a WCRS with a toddler can be! Definitely a staple with the PAXmommies!!

As hard as I ignored the facts, as far as I stuck my head in the sand, as loudly as I sang to drown out the truth, I couldn’t stop the inevitable from happening… #babycate turned TWENTY MONTHS this week. But as I look at her and see the amazing child she is becoming, the spirited toddler she is, and the cuddly baby she still is, I am filled with overwhelming gratitude for these past twenty months getting to know my Cate! Every day seems like a gift when life is viewed through her eyes; every funny bug and beautiful flower is worth a stop and a conversation when you live like Cate. She forces me with to slow down, calm down, and pay attention to what’s really important! View the world through your child’s eyes and see how wondrous the world can be!!!

Going on a roadtrip always seems like a great idea, until it comes down to actually packing. What to bring? What to leave behind? How to fit everything, and the kids into one vehicle…

If you are anything like me,  your thought process goes a little something like this:

“Oh. I only need a few… a long wrap, a shorty for dinner time, a buckle carrier for daddy, and that’s it… oh wait… did I remember a beater wrap? Which one won’t I mind getting filthy? Hmmm. Oh, and there will be water there, I should probably throw in the water sling, too… oh, and my regular ring sling… but which one? The rainbow one? Or the black and purple Merlin that will go with everything? Hmmm. Better throw both in there…wait, oh man… can both the girls fit in the Toddler Tula? No, baby is too small… better bring her Tula, too.”

Soooo… your bare minimum road-trip stash becomes everything and the kitchen sink… ONLY to find that your little muffins want to run the entire time, and not be worn…
